What are the Causes of a Slipped Disc?

The spinal column or slipped disc is made up of a series of bones (vertebrae) stacked onto each other. From top to bottom, the column includes seven bones in the cervical spine, 12 in the thoracic spine, and five in the lumbar spine, followed by the sacrum and the coccyx at the base. These bones are cushioned by disks. The disks protect the bones by absorbing the shocks from daily activities like walking, lifting, and twisting.
Anybody who has experienced a damaged spinal disk understands how painful it is. Every movement seems to make it worse.
This pain is a warning signal that you should heed. If you take appropriate action, the discomfort usually stops, and the problem can be corrected.
Many people diagnosed with slip disc- herniated disc, bulged disc- keeps on ignoring the condition. Because they never know about complications of disc problem? The causes are not known completely. It is understood that the spines are insubstantial in shape which breaks down by a period of time and causes pain. In the acute stage, a disc pain usually improves in some days. Some don’t even need medication and the problem gets resolved on its own. But there are certain indications from the body, which tell this is time to wake up.
